I’d give it 1000 stars if I could
I lost so much sleep over it, but waking up in the middle of the night chasing the local wildlife around my house is now a thing of the past thanks to the OnlyCat cat flap.
It has been installed for about a month and has intercepted at least 10 instances of live contraband. The software even apprehended my other cat when he tried to bring home a chicken nugget that he found outside. Seems to work on contraband of all shapes and sizes and so far has not failed once.
It is a bit of a faff to always have it plugged into a main socket and does require an extension lead due to my room layout. However, I’d rather an ugly extension lead than ever have to catch another rat with my bare hands again.
The app works really well and the video feed with alerts is a brilliant feature.
It was an expensive purchase, but I would absolutely recommend it for anyone with cats like mine. Very much worth the price we paid.

At last we can sleep well
We had to think it over a few times before buying, since it is a fairly expensive cat flap, but it has been so worth it! We have two cats, and one of them has an extreme hunting instinct and a great need to show us both live and dead mice, rats and birds, so we were woken again and again by our female cat insisting on giving us "gifts" during the night. Alternatively we woke up to a bloodbath with dismembered body parts. Those days are now over! We have had the flap for over a year now and every attempt to smuggle in the living and the dead has been stopped (apart from one mysterious episode with a bird, but she may have sneaked it in through another entrance). And it is still entertaining to watch videos of our hunting queen trying again and again when she has caught some poor creature she absolutely had to show us. A thousand thanks, OnlyCat, now we can finally sleep well all night through 🙏
