    To say that this door has been a game changer for us would be an understatement. This is one of those products that comes once in a lifetime and completely changes everything. Our little hunting machine was bringing in all types of live animals including birds, rabbits, and rats here in Florida, but no, no more. The videos are awesome. The door is not glitchy, always functions as designed. My wife and I could not be any happier wirh this product.

    TLDR: nice hardware and software with software receiving regular updates including fast bug-fixes and new functionalities.

    There's no need for batteries, it plugs on a mains socket with a small battery inside to cover short grid failures for peace of mind. The RFID chip detection is reliable. The prey detection is quite good : not a single prey made it through and I might have had 2 false positives since I got the Onlycat ~9 months ago. The cat managed to get through by retrying after a short time.

    The integration with HomeAssistant has always been usable with some minor quirks. It is receiving regular updates and gets better with time.

    The policy system seems quite powerful under the hood using JSON to describe it for geeks who wants to tinker with it. That said the user interface is enough for almost all users wanting to setup simple common policies and not to see a single JSON content (I'm very familiar with JSON and although I could, I didn't need to edit a policy for my needs).
