I was plagued with rats being brought in alive and dropped in the flat to run off and hide. Quite the nightmare and very hard to retrieve them. I had been waiting for this type of flap for a long time. This has quite literally changed my life. I can sit and feel comfortable in my home without the fear of my cats bringing something in. It’s fantastic and completely reliable and 100% works.

I have to give this 5 stars even though I had to return it. I did so because my cat just wouldn't use the flap. I tried everything that is recommended by vets and online sources, he's just a very nervous and easily frightened cat. Super easy to install and very sturdy. Setting up was easy too and the App is easy to use. I had to give it a go and very disappointed it didn’t work for us, as I’m back to chasing my gifts around the house.

This cat flap is the best money I’ve ever spent. It gives me complete peace of mind.
There was one “contraband” incident when I first installed it due to the length of time the cat flap remained open after exit. I messaged the guys and they got back to me within the hour and remedied it by shortening the time cat-flap stayed open during exit. Nothing has been allowed in since!
My cat is now learning that if she tries, unsuccessfully, to come in with contraband then she won’t bother again!
I can’t recommend this product or customer service highly enough.

Our cats used to bring in the house live mouse and birds even day! We didn't know what to do anymore, until we discovered Only Cat !!!

An amazing product and so easy to fit, we live on a disused farm and we were receiving 5/6 dead animals a day courtesy of our cat, now that’s all stopped and the cat learned very quickly that its entry was blocked with CONTRABAND 😂👍🏻

I can’t believe this exists but I’m so glad it does. We moved to rural Northumberland from London suburbia in February, had a baby in March and ever since our cat would bring prey up to 4 times a night sometimes. A mixture of hares, rabbits, rats, mice, birds. It was relentless. I nearly became postnatally depressed because of it . No one wants to be dealing with rat clean up when you have a young infant. The worms and the parasite risk was freaking me out. I was at my wits end. I wanted to give my cat back to the RSPCA - I hate to say it but I hated the cat I once doted on back down south. My husband and I were constantly having arguments about the cat. He wanted to keep her, I wanted her gone!

Thank god I found OnlyCat on the internet as a suitable compromise. I thought it was a scam at first but after seeing it was created by two brothers, also based in Northumberland… I thought it can’t be a coincidence that in the most rural county in England cats are such prolific hunters.

Needless to say, I have peace of mind now. I don’t have to keep asking my husband before he goes to work if he’s done a ‘mouse check’… I don’t need to ask my neighbours to pick up the dead rabbit because I’m too scared of getting a disease. I can actually enjoy my baby because I’m not walking round the house scared of stepping on a mouse.

Thank you for this invention! It’s a life saver. Literally. The app is also very amusing and easy to use. Please invest in this if you love cats but have a phobia of rodents and disease!

I only wish I had bought this sooner. It works. A bonus is it keeps next doors cat out as well so no more guessing how much our Smudge has eaten today.
I don’t use it to its full potential as I don’t need to but no more chasing live mice around at silly o’clock in the morning is all I wanted and this delivers.
We’ve had this over a year now and not a single problem with it.

We have had the flap for just over a year. We had 5 cats, 3 were hunters. We now just have the hunters. The flap has been the best thing ever. No more live "gifts" or trying to find the dead ones. No more waking up to body parts every where. The customer service is 5*. Our biggest cat who was part mainecoon even got through the flap. The flap is being upgraded all the time so more and more features are being added.

I’ve had Only Cat since the very start and it’s amazing. My cats have learned it’s not worth even trying to bring anything in as they’ve realised they’re locked out. On the few occasions there’s been a glitch in the software, the team have very quickly fixed it for me. They’re very helpful and are a pleasure to deal with. I like being able to set times when the cats can come and go - I change the times so they’re always in when it’s dark. Thank you so much Tomas and team

After just over a year with two new cats and a OnlyCat flap I really don't regret the purchase at all. My latest cats are very efficient mousers, and since the installation of a OnlyCat flap, we have only had one mouse indoors (and that was because we stupidly left the door open). Both cats no longer attempt to bring anything indoors having learnt that it isn't going to work. We have had a couple of issues with the flap, but when we contacted Customer Service we were answered very quickly and the issue has been sorted without any problem.

I like the product, i have 4 cats but dissapointed that the flap is so small. My smallest cat are 3.9kg and the biggest 5.3kg. They are 2 mix breeds, 1 balinese cat and a neva masquerade 8 months old. Two of them struggle to get through..like its hard to get the back legs with them so they need to wiggle(balinese cat and neva)..because the opening is so small. 1 of the 4 refuses to use it and the last one is highly skeptic (but he fits okay i think). . None of them are overweight.
I wish there was couple of sizes to choose from esp that there would be a XL or XXL size. We will try to build extra stairs esp outsideto see if the flap is "too high" but im afraid that it will not be useful for us and spending sooo much money😓

Brilliant invention. Saved us many nervous sleepless nights listening for cats bringing us presents. Customer service is excellent and the team are always working to improve what is a great bit of kit.

Amazing for keeping our cat bringing unwanted presents in the house. The app still needs a bit more improvement on reading correctly when she is in/out of the house. But the product is amazing!

An absolute Godsend. I have had my OnlyCat for over a year. After aproximately 6 months wait, I was one of the early buyers, it finally arrived. Well…… one of the best buys I have Ever made. After being awoken in the middle of the night on a regular basis with a dead or live mouse in the house. I was traumatised. But thanks to OnlyCat I have enjoyed going to bed stress free and able to sleep all through the night for over a year. Also, it prevents a pesky unknown cat trying to get into my house. Not cheap but believe me, worth it. Customer service is without fault and I’ve rarely had such a pleasant experience. Thank you OnlyCat team. If you are hesitating…… don’t, just get it

After some minor teething issues with keeping the device connected to the WiFi, I have to say this product is proving life changing. Since installing it we have not had one mouse brought in. This has meant no more chasing live ones around the house or finding half eaten remains on the floor. My wife was scared everyday of getting up and seeing live or dead mice. The flap has stopped our cat everytime with remarkable accuracy. It is expensive and we were somewhat cynical but it has been worth every penny to remove the fear and the time spent chasing rodents.
A fantastic product I would highly recommend to anyone who suffers with their cats bringing prey in. Thank you onlycat.
