We love this technology! Life level-up for us and the cats. We have our very own AI “Carson” that lets kitties come and go as they please without bringing unwanted critters into the house. Game Changer

Not only is this an amazing invention, but customer service is great too. I bought into this while it was still in development and couldn’t wait to get it. The cats have almost stopped trying to bring mice in as they’ve learned that they are locked out, but the fox still tries her best to get in! Maybe I should microchip her??? Wow!!!

I joined with OnlyCat at the development stage. Waited quite a while for the product to be completed and delivered BUT it was well worth the wait. This is a fantastic product. For any owner of an outdoor cat who insists on bringing live “presents” into the house day or night, or who wants to keep track of when your cat is in/out, this is a MUST have purchase. You will not regret it. The customer support is outstanding. Five stars isn’t enough for this product or the team behind it.

One of the best recent purchases! OnlyCat is absolutely brilliant. The price was slightly off-putting initially, but once you’ve got it installed it feels completely worth it.

I’ve got both my cats on different curfew schedules which prevents the kitten leaving during the night, and our expert hunter is now happy with freedom to come and go as he pleases – unless he’s carrying a gift!

My Only Cat, cat flap, has literally changed my life. The final straw was my male cat, Bear, leaving an extremely large present, in the form of a rat, on my sofa. I have not had any unwanted guests, dead or alive, enter through the cat flap, since installation in December 25. The cat flap fits perfectly in the Sureflap space. Admin are amazingly responsive. My 2 outdoor cats rarely try to enter with guests now and the neighbourhood unwanted cat has given up trying, as I don’t think they were a fan off the Angry Cat sound that greeted them. Being able to lock and unlock the cat flap, remotely is fantastic.
Best money spent in a long time.

Probably the best thing I have bought…

Probably the best thing I have bought in a very very long time. I can sleep in peace at night at last. No more chasing live mice around at 3am. They seem to know how it works because very rarely try to bring anything in anymore. I have had my flap for a year now and absolutely nothing has ‘got through’. If you are thinking of getting an OnlyCat don’t hesitate anymore……you won’t regret it. Also, cherry on the cake their customer service is next to none. Always respond very quickly and are always very very helpful.

Best purchase we have made

I really cannot recommend this product enough. It was becoming a daily issue with our cat Salem bringing in mice and birds around 1am every night, mostly alive and then we would have to catch and release them. We’d seen the OnlyCat cat flap but I imagine like others wondered if it was worth the cost of it. After a while getting up every night starts to take a toll on you, the final straw was one weekend when Friday night he brought in a mouse which we found to have a damaged leg and unfortunately had to take to the vets to be put to sleep. The night after, yet another mouse but when I went to take it up the road and release it in the field, the mouse escaped and managed to get behind the dashboard of my car 😳 (luckily we managed to entice it out with peanut butter in a humane mouse trap) That was enough for us so we went on and purchased the OnlyCat cat flap the next morning and it is the best purchase we have made. Night 1 it stopped another cat getting in, within a week we discovered that there were actually 3 other cats that had been coming into our house previously undetected. Since the cat flap was fitted we have had 0 mice or birds brought in, it has detected and stopped everything! Hopefully this review might help others in the same situation, amazing product and 100% recommend.

⭐ Best investment for peaceful nights

The OnlyCat cat flap was the best investment we've ever made. Jerry needed two or three attempts at first, but after a few days he walked straight through every time.
Particularly impressive: the flap refused to let him in when he turned up with a small rat – the video says it all.
Our nights have been far more peaceful since. Setting it up was child's play and the app gives you full control.

Die OnlyCat Katzenklappe war für uns die beste Investition überhaupt. Jerry brauchte anfangs zwei bis drei Versuche, aber nach ein paar Tagen lief er jedes Mal problemlos durch.
Besonders beeindruckend: Die Klappe hat ihm den Eintritt verwehrt, als er mit einer kleinen Ratte ankam – das Video dazu sagt alles.
Seitdem haben wir viel ruhigere Nächte. Die Einrichtung war kinderleicht und die App bietet volle Kontrolle.

Worth every penny

I put off ordering the OnlyCat cat flap for several months, because it is obviously not cheap. However after using it for the last month it is worth every penny.

If you have a cat like mine that is prolific in bringing live and injured mice into the house then you will understand those incidents are extremely stressful. I have a real fear of rodents too and sometimes I have spent says hunting for lost live mice in the house and literally was unable to relax until they were caught. The final straw was finding a decomposed mouse hidden behind my wardrobe. It was often several times a week that he would bring in mice and I was considering rehoming him.

So I invested in the OnlyCat and it has blocked every single contraband the cat has tried to bring in.

The catflap is based on the sure flap microchip cat flap we already had so installation took a minute or two, being identical in size. I had a slight issue trying to connect the internet, make sure it’s on 2.4ghz and you’ll be fine.

I was very impressed by the customer service. It’s obviously a small team who really care about their customers and the response to any questions has been super quick, helpful and friendly.

I almost went with the cheaper zeromouse which is similar but it’s not a full cat flap it’s just an add on. I am really glad I paid extra for the quality and all in one system. The OnlyCat is like the rolls Royce of cat flaps and visually looks really well made.

Lastly and something that I didn’t realise before I bought it, was the ability to set custom policies using chatGPT. You can customise EVERYTHING, making specific rules for your own needs and in the developer mode you can literally code it yourself or use chatGPT to write the code to customise the cat flap. You can have several different custom policies for example if you’re on holiday and need a separate policy. By coding custom rules I mean you can set the cat flap to block specific cats including at different times. You can customise how long the flap stays locked when contraband is detected which has been very helpful. You can set different sounds for different scenarios/different cats or have no sound at all. It detects human activity also.

The paper display screen looks great and if you have a nervous cat like me who is wary of the clicking of the lock at first you can keep it on training mode or write the algorithm to not lock at all. It only took a couple of days and both cats were happily coming and going – while the prey was left outside!!

Seriously if you’re considering getting a prey detection cat flap, I would go with OnlyCat. I say this as someone who is not rich. I don’t have a lot, my car cost not much more than this cat flap but the peace of mind and time saved is life changing and it’s worth saving for if you need to! Thanks OnlyCat.
