Depuis que nous avons acheté une OnlyCat, nous dormons tranquilles en sachant que nos chats ne peuvent plus rien rapporter à l'intérieur. Avant, ils ramenaient beaucoup de souris vivantes, plus maintenant : l'OnlyCat fonctionne sur 100 % de leurs tentatives de contrebande. C'est tellement satisfaisant de regarder les vidéos de ces tentatives ! Je recommande à 100 %. Si vous achetez depuis la Belgique, comme moi, sachez qu'il y aura des frais de douane supplémentaires.

Since buying an OnlyCat, we sleep well knowing our cats can´t bring in anything anymore. Our cats brought in many live mice before, not anymore, the OnlyCat is working for 100% of the attempts they make smuggling in contraband. It´s so satisfying looking at the video´s of the attempts! Nous avons acheté une chatière OnlyCat pour réduire le nombre de cadeaux indésirables que nos 4 chats ramènent à la maison et j'avoue que je n'espérais pas vraiment qu'elle soit aussi efficace et aussi géniale qu'elle l'est finalement. L'installation a été un jeu d'enfant et dès la première nuit, elle a empêché l'entrée de 3 rongeurs. Autre bonus : voir les petites têtes perplexes de nos chats quand ils essaient de rentrer et que l'accès leur est refusé ! Oui, c'est très cher pour une chatière, mais honnêtement je ne peux pas la recommander davantage à quiconque a des chats grands chasseurs. Vraiment incroyable.

Purchased an OnlyCat cat flap to help reduce the number of unwanted presents brought into the house by our 4 cats and I'll admit, I didn't have too much hope that it would be as effective or awesome as it has turned out to be. Setup was a cinch and on the first night, it blocked 3 rodents from being brought in. An added bonus is being able to see out cats confused little faces when they try to enter the house and get access denied! Yes, it's very expensive for a cat flap, but I honestly cannot recommend this higher to anyone who has cats who are prolific hunters. Truly amazing.

Im always a bit dubious when something sounds too good to be true - so far Onlycat does exactly what it is supposed to. My cats can not even bring a leaf or a feather into the house let alone a bird or a mouse. Im sooooo happy its a life changer

*Ajout en réponse à votre réaction* – à la question du questionnaire me demandant si j'avais bien compris qu'une alimentation secteur était nécessaire, j'ai répondu, d'après l'e-mail dans lequel vous m'avez récapitulé mes réponses : « Je ne le savais pas, mais je saurai faire. » J'ai effectivement essayé de faire en sorte que ça marche. J'ai aussi écrit au service client pour demander conseil sur le câblage et je n'ai reçu aucune suggestion pour résoudre le problème. Le câble fourni est blanc – il n'y a vraiment aucune photo qui le montre sur le site, même si je vois qu'il y a désormais un lien vers des photos de clients. Ce n'est franchement pas clair. Je vois aussi que d'autres clients ont soulevé ce point.

Ce produit nécessite une alimentation électrique permanente et câblée. Cela signifie qu'il ne convient pas à une installation dans une porte – l'endroit habituel pour poser une chatière. Le site ne le dit pas clairement du tout. Par exemple, aucune des photos ne montre une chatière avec un câble qui sort par le bas de l'appareil. La nôtre était installée dans la porte de derrière et le câble a inévitablement cassé au niveau du raccordement à la chatière : elle est maintenant inutilisable. Si le site avait indiqué clairement qu'une alimentation câblée permanente était nécessaire, je n'aurais pas acheté ce produit. Il est cher et, dans mon cas, ça a malheureusement été un énorme gaspillage d'argent.

*Edit to address the response* - to the question on the survey about whether I had clocked there was mains power required, I replied "I didn't know this but I can make it work" per your email record to me of the survey response. I did try to make it work. I did also email customer support for advice on the wiring and didn't receive any suggestions of how to address the issue. The cable supplied is white - there really are no pictures showing this on the website, although I see there is now a link to some customer photos. It's genuinely not clear. I can also see that other customers have raised this point.

This product requires a permanent, wired power source. That means it is not suitable for installation in doors (a typical place to install a cat flap). This is not at all clear from the website. For example, none of the pictures show a cat flap with a wire coming out the bottom of the unit. Ours was installed in the back door and the wire inevitably broke in the connection to the cat flap itself and is now unusable. If the need for a permanent wired power connection had been clear on the website, I would not have bought this product. It's expensive and has, unfortunately, been a huge waste of money in my case.

Mack utilisait la porte sans crainte en moins d'une semaine, et hier soir a eu lieu sa première tentative de rapporter une souris. La porte s'est verrouillée et m'a alerté. C'était fantastique. L'ouverture est petite, donc cela peut être difficile pour de grands chats. Mack est un chat long. Il a eu du mal à faire passer ses pattes arrière, car il doit les garder droites et les tirer avec la force du haut du corps en sortant. À l'entrée, l'ouverture est un peu plus large. Je recommande vivement OnlyCat à quiconque a connu les mêmes problèmes que moi. Mon autre chatte reste à l'intérieur, mais je n'ai pas à craindre qu'elle s'aventure dehors, car la porte ne s'ouvre que pour Mack, puisqu'il porte la puce sur son collier.

Amazing product! I have wanted something like this for the last few years. My cat, Mack started bringing in snakes, mice and bunnies because I was letting him outside and leaving the door cracked open for him. I learned my lesson and started keeping the door closed. But after he got a taste for hunting he was driving me crazy with going in and out. Sometimes not coming home before I went to bed when the weather was warm. I worried about him being locked outside all night and my attempts to keep him inside failed as he is fast and sneaky. I also knew a pet flap would just allow him to continue bringing me gifts. So, I was super excited to learn about OnlyCat. I did my research before purchase due to the price. It was worth every penny! It’s easy to install and most importantly it works! Support is always available with a quick response through a chat with a real person. Upon purchase I was invited to a Facebook group with others who share experiences and ideas. Mack was comfortable using the door within less than a week and last night was his first attempt to bring in a mouse. The door locked and alerted me. It was fantastic. The opening is small so it may be a struggle for bigger cats. Mack is a long cat. He struggled getting his hind legs through because he has to leave them straight and pull his back legs through with his upper body strength when exiting the house. Coming into the house the entry is a little wider. I highly recommend OnlyCat for anyone who has the same issues I had. My other cat stays inside but I don’t have to worry about her venturing out because the door only opens for Mack since he’s wearing the microchip on his collar.

Proactifs, serviables, et un service client excellent
Nous avions un problème avec l'un de nos chats, un attrapeur de souris hors pair, parfois plusieurs par jour
J'ai vu ça dans Dragons Den et je me suis dit que j'essaierais n'importe quoi qui m'éviterait de courir après des bestioles dans la maison à toute heure du jour et de la nuit
Le problème : je devais raccorder cette chatière de taille standard au tunnel d'une grande porte pour animaux Sure Flap, et comme je le craignais, à la livraison l'assemblage était catastrophique
La solution : quand j'ai expliqué le problème à l'entreprise, ils m'ont fabriqué un adaptateur, imprimé en 3D, qui s'ajustait parfaitement
Bon, le produit est cher, mais il embarque une technologie nouvelle, et s'il tient ses promesses, j'aurai vite oublié le prix
Tout ce que je peux dire, c'est que mes e-mails ont reçu une réponse et que Ross a passé beaucoup de temps au téléphone avec moi pour que ça marche, alors bonne chance à eux

We’ve had a problem with one of our cats who is a prolific ‘mouser’, sometimes several per day
I saw this on Dragons Den, and I thought I’d try anything that prevented me chasing critters round the house at all hours of the day & night
The problem: I needed to marry this standard size cat flap on to the tunnel of a Sure Flap large pet door, and as suspected, it was a terrible match when it arrived
The solution: when I explained the problem to the company, they made me an adapter, 3D printed so it matched perfectly
Look, the product is pricey, but it contains new tech, and if it performs how I hope it will, I’ll forget the cost quite quickly
I can only say, that emails were answered, and Ross spent a lot of time of the phone with me to make this work, so good luck to them

Non seulement c'est une chatière fantastique qui fonctionne exactement comme prévu, mais le service après-vente est excellent :
Ma chatte, qui n'est pas très futée, a réussi contre toute attente à trouver une faille dans le protocole anti-contrebande : elle dépose ses proies dans le tunnel d'entrée, passe la chatière la 'gueule vide', puis fait demi-tour en prétendant sortir, récupère sa victime dans le tunnel et la ramène à l'intérieur.
Cinq minutes après mon e-mail d'urgence au support à 22h30 (heure du Royaume-Uni), j'avais une réponse me proposant de configurer à distance une période de blocage après la détection de contrebande, en me laissant choisir la durée en minutes. Ça a été fait très vite et maintenant je suis tranquille : ma chatte finira par se lasser de contempler ses succulentes prises qui l'attendent dans le tunnel et ira les déguster ailleurs qu'ici.
Recommandé à 100 % 👍

Superb customer support
Not only is this a fantastic cat flap which works exactly as intended, the after sales support is superb:
My not-very-bright cat has, against all odds, managed to find a loophole in the contraband protocol by leaving her rodent kills in the entrance tunnel then breezing through the flap with a 'clear mouth', only to turn around and pretend to exit, grabbing her victim from the tunnel and bringing it in.
Within five minutes of my emergency email to support at 10.30pm (UK time) I had a reply offering to remotely set up a lockout period after contraband is detected, and was given the choice of how long in minutes I wanted it set to. This was done very quickly and I'm now content that my cat will get bored of looking at her succulent kills waiting for her in the tunnel and take them away to dine on them somewhere that isn't here.

Un vrai tournant ! Cela nous permet de partir en vacances et le chat va bien. Nous pouvons régler la chatière pour que seule sa puce soit autorisée. Elle scanne la puce automatiquement, donc la configuration est très intuitive dans l'application. Mais surtout, elle détecte toujours s'il a une souris et bloque l'entrée. Ce n'est pas un article bon marché, mais ça marche !! Ça marche vraiment, tout simplement. Vous recevez aussi les événements vidéo en direct. Achetez-la sans hésiter.

game changer! This lets us go on holiday and the cat is fine. We can set it so his chip is the only one allowed in. It auto scans the chip so setup is very intuitive in the app. But essentially, it always picks up if he has a mouse and blocks entry. It’s not a cheap item but it works!! It really really just works. You get live video event too. Absolutely do get it

Excellente chatière !!!!!! Elle détecte tout, des rats et des souris aux élastiques que mes chats essaient de rapporter, mdr ! La puce d'un de mes chats a bougé, du coup il n'est pas détecté aussi facilement, mais nous avons désactivé la détection de puce et maintenant tout va bien. Aucun autre chat n'essaie d'entrer, donc ça ne pose pas de problème ! Je ne pourrais plus me passer de cette chatière et je la recommande vivement à quiconque a un chat tueur 🐈⬛ 🐭😂

Excellent cat flap!!!!!! Detects everything from rats, mice & elastic bands that my cats try to bring in lol! One cats microchip has slipped so it doesn’t pick him up so easily but we turned off the microchip detection and it’s now fine. No other cats try and get in so it’s no bother! Wouldn’t be without this cat flap and would highly recommend it for anyone with a murderous cat 🐈⬛ 🐭😂

Chatière géniale... plus besoin de monter sur une chaise !
Nous avions auparavant une chatière à puce électronique, qui fonctionnait bien... mais nous avions des problèmes avec notre chatte qui rapportait des cadeaux. Souvent, soit nous la trouvions en train de "jouer" avec ce qu'elle avait rapporté, soit nous découvrions une scène de film d'horreur, avec du sang et des morceaux partout. Du coup, c'était aussi compliqué de laisser sortir la chatte quand nous étions absents... et pour finir, j'en avais assez de voir ma femme montée sur une chaise (elle n'aime pas les souris !)
J'ai découvert ce produit sur un site de financement participatif et, même s'il était cher, j'ai senti qu'il apporterait un bénéfice durable à tout le monde.
Depuis sa réception, je suis extrêmement impressionné.
La détection est vraiment bonne, et nous n'avons pas eu un seul cas de non-détection.....
L'application et les notifications sont bien, et on reçoit une vidéo du chat qui entre et qui sort.
Comme ça fonctionne si bien, nous avons confiance et nous laissons la chatte aller et venir même quand nous ne sommes pas à la maison, ce qu'elle apprécie sûrement, car elle aime sortir explorer.

Brilliant cat flap....no more standing on a chair!
We previously had a microchip cat flap, that worked well....but we had issues with our cat bringing in presents. And often we would either find her 'playing' with what she bought in or find the scene of a horror movie with blood and bits everywhere. With this in mind it made it hard to let our cat out when we are away also..and lastly I was fed up of my wife standing on a chair (she not a fan of mice!)
I found this on a crowdfunding site and whilst it was expensive, I felt it would provide a long term benefit to all.
Since it arrived I have been extremely impressed with it.
The detection is really good, and we haven't had one issue of not detecting.....
The app and notifications are good, and it provides a video of your cat entering and leaving.
With how well it works, it gives us the confidence to let the cat come and go even when we are not at home, which I'm sure the cat appreciates, as it's likes going out exploring.

Cette chatière fait ce qu'elle annonce. Les cadeaux et les chats de passage restent dehors. Seul votre chat peut entrer. No more unwanted gifts
This cat flap does what it claims. Gifts and random cats are kept out. Only your cat can get in. Any issues are dealt with swiftly and their customer service is excellent. One of the best companies I have ever dealt with. Thank you Onlycat for designing the cat flap I needed!

Fantastique ! Only Cat fonctionne de façon fiable et sans accroc. En hiver, c'est un peu juste pour notre grosse Frieda, il est vrai que son pelage est bien dense à cette saison 😉 Nous aurions peut-être dû commander la version plus grande. Quand elle retrouve sa ligne de bikini en été, ça passe mieux. Pour notre svelte Wilma, ça marche bien à tout moment.
En tout cas un très bon achat et un grand soulagement, ça vaut chaque euro !

Fantastisch! Only Cat funktioniert zuverlässig und reibungslos. Im Winter ein bisschen knapp für unsere dicke Frieda, ihr Fell ist da halt auch recht dicht 😉 Eventuell hätten wir hier die größere Variante bestellen sollen. Wenn sie im Sommer ihre Bikinifugur hat funktioniert das besser. Für unsere schlanke Wilma klappt das jederzeit gut.
Auf jeden Fall ein richtig guter Kauf und große Erleichterung, jeden Euro wert!
